Members of the Dickerson Road Merchants Association voted recently to recognize the newly opened Uptown Flats development with a neighborhood beautification award. Uptown Flats, located at the intersection of Dickerson Road and Gatewood Avenue, is a 72-unit apartment community developed by the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency through funding from the Neighborhood Stabilization Program.
