The Inspiration Centre on the Water grand opening May 10th

Imagine enjoying music, dancing and food while walking on “the boardwalk.”  On May 10th, the public will celebrate an extension of the well-known activities center, The Inspiration Centre located at 2286 Metro Center Blvd. as it hosts a grand opening.

This grand opening event is an introduction to The Inspiration Centre on the Water, formerly Fat Tuesdays.  The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. with live music while visitors stroll through an array of vendors and enjoy food from the grill.

At 8:30 p.m.  visitors can enjoy a fashion show presented by Dwight Pope.

The Inspiration Centre reserves space for many local activities that include birthday celebrations, weddings, receptions, meetings, fitness, plays, listening parties, church functions and much more.  The Inspiration Centre also holds regular fitness classes:  JD Workouts on Mondays from 5:30-6:30, Jerry Davis is the instructor; Tuesdays from 6:45-8:00 p.m. Line Dance Workouts and instructions, LaMonte O. Frierson is the instructor.

And, now the Inspiration Centre has expanded to include the gazebo located outside and extended over a body of water that creates a beautiful scene that also allows the space to be open around all sides.  This is The Inspiration Centre Too, both locations to be known as The Inspiration Centre on the Water, “Where your vision meets reality,” the written motto.

“We are holding this grand opening to let everybody know that we are finally open to bring live entertainment on the water,” said Jerry Davis, owner. He said, “We want to create a festive outdoor evening.”

The grand opening of The Inspiration Centre Too, including the fashion show is free and open to the public beginning at 6:30 p.m. May 10th.
