The members, friend and family of Howard E. Jones, Jr. are set to gather in celebration of his 25th anniversary at Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, 1004 S. Dickerson Rd. in Goodlettsville, TN.

The members have chosen the scripture from Jeremiah 1:5 & 10 to fit what describes their pastor and this event as, “honoring a leader who fits all.”  “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.  See today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and plant.”

Pastor Jones 25th Anniversary will include a two-day celebration.

On Friday, August 8th, members, friends and family will gather at the Music City Sheraton on 777 McGavock Pike at 7:00 p.m.
After resting up on Saturday, everyone will report to Fairfield church on Sunday for three worship services in Pastor Jones honor.  At 8:00 a.m. the service will have special guest speaker, Pastor Kelvin Walker.  At 10:35 a.m., the special guest speaker will be Pastor James Shelton and the day will be complete with a 3:00 p.m. worship service with special guest speaker, Pastor Sandy McClain.
