Bud Light and Netflix return to Wild West Comedy Festival as official sponsors

Nashville, TN – The Wild West Comedy Festival announced that Bud Light, “The Perfect Beer for Whatever Happens,” has returned as presenting sponsor; and Netflix, the premiere destination in original and stand-up comedy programming, as associate sponsor for year two of the festival. The festival takes place in Nashville through Sunday, April 19.

“After a successful collaboration in the first year of our festival, we’re thrilled to have Bud Light and Netflix back as premiere sponsors,” said Vince Vaughn, head of Wild West Productions. “We couldn’t be aligned with better partners; both of these brands share the festival’s passion for, and commitment to, comedy.”

This year’s Wild West Comedy Festival’s stellar lineup includes performers Kevin Hart,Cristela Alonzo, Eric Andre, Doug Benson, Lewis Black, Hannibal Buress, Steve Byrne, Frank Caliendo, Jeff Garlin, Greg Hahn, Anjelah Johnson, Colin Jost, Nick Kroll, Joel McHale, John Mulaney, Tig Notaro, John Reep, Jeanne Robertson, Rory Scovel and Sarah Tiana.

In addition, Brad Paisley will host A Night of Comedy; truTV’s Impractical Jokers will return with their all-new Where’s Larry? Tour, starring The Tenderloins; and Kevin Smithand Jason Mewes will present their popular podcast Jay & Silent Bob Get Old. FilmmakersDavid Zucker and Jerry Zucker will oversee a screening of the classic comedy Airplane!, followed by an audience Q&A. Ralphie May will host The Dirty @ 10:30; and Paul Aldrichwill host Cuss Free Comedy, starring Keith Alberstadt. The Festival will also present a special advance screening of the 20th Century Fox film, SPY, starring Melissa McCarthy,Jude Law and Jason Statham, directed by Paul Feig.

More than 20,000 attended the inaugural Wild West Comedy Festival in 2014, and were treated to more than 29 shows from all-star talent.
