Interfaith prayer service held for Mayor-Elect Megan Barry, Vice Mayor-Elect David Briley, and the Metropolitan Nashville Council members

An interfaith prayer service was held Friday, September 25 at Watson Grove Missionary Baptist Church for then, Mayor-Elect Megan Barry, Vice Mayor-Elect David Briley, and the Metropolitan Nashville Council members. The service was opened in song by the talented McCrary Sisters followed by a welcome from Pastor John R. Faison, Sr. Following pastor Faison, leaders of different faiths made impassioned prayers for the leadership and citizens of Nashville.
