Washington, DC — On Thursday, March 24th, Sterling Women of Washington DC will host a special Women’s History Month Luncheon featuring guest speaker Denise Turner Roth, Administrator of the General Services Administration (GSA). In May 2015, Denise Turner Roth was nominated by President Obama to head GSA, the agency that serves as the government’s supplier of goods, services and property to all federal agencies. She was sworn in and assumed office on August 5, 2015 and is the 21st Senate-confirmed Administrator of GSA.

When asked how GSA was changing during an interview on Leadership with Tom Fox for The Washington Post, Denise responded, “Our agency has made great strides over the last few years and there are still a number of opportunities to improve even more. This year, we will continue to build on our success and continue to explore paths that pushes our government forward, further providing the support and services our federal partners need in the 21st century.”

The luncheon will take place at The Hamilton Live located at 600 14th Street, NW starting at 11:00am and wrapping up at 1:30 pm and includes a plated lunch and plenty of time for networking.
