Jeffrey Wilford is known as ‘Brother Wilford’ to many because of his loving demeanor and nationwide span in the Gospel music industry—and for his affiliation with the award winning ‘Volunteer Mass Choir and his ‘Eastside Gospel’ music store.

Being the founder/CEO of the only retail venue of its kind in the mid-state for well over 15 years is something to be proud of indeed. He is a humble, soft spoken man, but powerful in the word and ‘God’s music.’ His trusted demeanor, giving spirit and presence as a man of faith, has earned him many titles. But he is most happy with Brother Jeff.

Prior to the recent relocation to the North Nashville Bordeaux area, the store was located on Gallatin Pike. The new address is 3536 West Hamilton Avenue, Nashville, Tenn. 37218, off Buena Vista in the heart of a busy strip mall. Two key landmarks to help in your search include: ‘Youth About Business’ and the ‘House of Manna.’ It’s not hard to find and defiantly worth the trip.

He encourages everyone to come out to the new Hamilton Ave store location on Saturday, July 8, for the grand opening, open house, meet-and-greet, and Gospel music concert featuring another one of Nashville’s finest, Lady Denotra Sharpe Sneed. It all begins at 10 am and runs until 5 pm, CDT. The concert and CD signing portion is from 11 am to 1 pm. The new location kickoff event theme is ‘Eastside Gospel Music and Llerros Neckwear Grand Re-Opening.’

Lady Denotra was once known as the little girl with the strong, big voice who started at the age of five on her parent’s porch. Today her golden voice and key vocal skills have surpassed the porch performance. She is in demand for bigger stages. Her equally talented husband of 15 years, Charles Sneed, supports her with the help of her manager, Erica Grider. In the ‘hometown music’ section Bro. Jeff showcases Lady Denotra’s new title CD Denotra, which features a house favorite ‘Jehovah’ and other local Gospel artists as well.

The store is always focused on providing Christian Ministry services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

“We will do everything we can to meet your expectations and will work diligently to keep in stock a variety of music and products to choose from,” said Bro. Jeff.

The Volunteer Mass Choir is another one of Bro. Jeff’s success-story markers. He was the original founder/president of the staunch, traditional music style choir. When it comes to Gospel music, the choir just about nails whatever they set out to share in praise and worship. Their title CD The Gospel of Tennessee has received much airplay, praise and request for appearances. Between the stores, the choir and discreet charitable volunteer work, Bro. Jeffrey Wilford stays busy. He does it all with a smile and by keeping God first. Everyone is welcome to the open house, concert and CD signing event.

He and his team are looking forward to welcoming first time guests and old friends as well.

“The entire day is going to be a joyous event, hearty celebration and tribute to the fine lady known as ‘Music City USA,’” said Br. Jeff.
