Members and friends of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate the ‘Biggest Birthday in the Whole Wide World!’ on Sept. 29. The pastor of Corinthian, located at 819 33rd Ave. North, wants to share his birthday with the entire Nashville community. Rev. Enoch Fuzz looks forward to bringing the community together for food, music, fun, fellowship and dancing in the street from 5-7 pm.
Those in attendance will find a plethora of activities to participate in as the themed party lives up to being “the biggest birthday party in the whole wide world.” It will consist of games like The Family Feud; line dance performances by area line dance groups; line dance participation; a big fish fry; and information on health awareness and other concerns important to the community.
“Did we say, music and dancing? Music is universal and it brings people together, not to mention dancing too,” according to coordinators and members of the Corinthian Pastor’s Aid Society, sponsors of this event. “We want Nashville to come out and celebrate our pastor’s birthday. He always wants to serve the community and he thinks, what better way to serve than to share your birthday celebration.”
This birthday celebration will also share many gifts and opportunities to meet, greet and network with 92Q on-air personality Connie Dennell, the host, and city officials and members of a variety of city organizations—all while mingling, eating, dancing and fellowshipping all in good fun.
