Nashville General Hospital hosts Dr. Robert E. Hardy Cancer Center Survivorship Celebration

On Sunday, June 3, Nashville General Hospital hosted it’s Dr. Robert E. Hardy Cancer Center Survivorship Celebration. Patients, families and the hospital staff came together to recognize survivors of all ages. Following a cancer survivor’s impactful testimony at the event, the Nashville General Hospital Foundation received an anonymous gift of $50,000 in unrestricted funds. The donor was motivated to give after hearing the story of a retired and uninsured gentleman who had been diagnosed with cancer.
