Months of hard work, dedication and sincere planning will culminate with the third annual Creatives Day, Nashville.

The event takes place at the downtown public library located at 615 Church St., Nashville, and is scheduled to begin promptly at 11 am and runs until 4 pm on the first floor of the library. Admission is free but firm RSVP’s are suggested and being accepted through an Eventbrite link: www.cdme.eventbrite.com.

Creatives Day is a nonprofit support organization for emerging ‘creatives’ in Tennessee. Its mission is to connect emerging creatives to resources and opportunities that lead to greater self-reliance and financial independence. This is done by improving access to five key areas, including education, affordable housing, employment, business planning, and personal finance. Creatives Day is a family-friendly arts celebration taking place on the third Saturday of October every year.

“We envision a world where emerging creatives possess the keys to create opportunities of economic empowerment for themselves and for their cities through their innate talent, vision, and innovation,” said Creatives Day founder and SpreadLuv co-owner Brian Sexton.

The day of fun, history and artistic celebration will include: face painting, library community mural reveal and dedication, games, hands-on art activities and much more. Sponsored by the Nashville Public Library and Creatives Day, the third annual event promises to be memorable and a positive experience for all.
