The joy of God’s music

Lady Corder Chapman

God’s music can be happy or sad
God’s music can be about good or bad
God’s music can save or it can heal
God’s music can touch and it can seal

God’s music can be heavy or light
God’s music can tell about blindness or sight
God’s music can reveal or hide
God’s music can be about meekness or pride

God’s music can be about rising or sitting
God’s music can be about giving or living
God’s music can be about coming or going
God’s music can be about covering or showing

God’s music can draw or drive
God’s music can uncover or hide
God’s music can conceal or cover
God’s music can reveal or discover

God’s music can lift up or turn down
God’s music can direct or turn around
God’s music can be around caring or sharing
God’s music can tell of rushing or tarrying

God’s music can build up or tear down
God’s music can direct or turn around
God’s music can change or maintain
God’s music can reject or explain

God’s music can give or take
God’s music can tear down or make
God’s music can question or ask
God’s music can finish a task

God’s music is everywhere
On the land – on the sea – here or there
God’s music is the answer to all our needs
If we’ll let it in our hearts
We’ll always succeed
