Cancer: My Journey in time
Black History in the month of love

Rev. Enoch Fuzz

Black History is celebrated in the month of February along with the celebration of expressions of love, primarily to a significant other. There are so many people that we celebrate each year that have done some outstanding work for the good of mankind in some significant way. Of course, we recognize many names such as Martin Luther King, Jr.; Sojourner Truth; Rosa Parks—the list is endless. There are many other names that are recalled as we continue to stand on the shoulders of those from the past.

Many names continue to be added to the list as each year passes, and contributions are endless. Just as we make special arrangements to express our love to spouses, children, parents and friends on February 14, we also recognize other people who continue to contribute. Many are known and many unknown.

Rev. Enoch Fuzz, pastor of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, is one of those greats who has made outstanding contributions over the years. There are so many people that receive kindnesses and generosities that cannot be counted. Is it his intent to be recognized? No. He is simply living his purpose in life. He continues to do all he can for his community, family, church and even strangers (if he has ever met a stranger).

He continues to do his blessed work while enduring his journey with stage four lung cancer. While he is getting better, he sometimes still feels bad. “I was feeling great last week, but not so great this week.” He may not feel great, but he’s still spreading his love for his fellow man. He loves not just in February, but also in every day of every month in the year. That’s why it brings great pleasure to say during Black History Month, ‘Happy Valentines Day, Rev. Enoch Fuzz.’

Thank you for your continued prayers for Rev. Fuzz. He prays for you, also, as you go through your personal journey. Be encouraged knowing as time passes, he now has more days of feeling better than days of feeling “not so good.” Visit Rev. Fuzz’s Facebook site as he shares his concerns with praise, pictures, testimony and singing. Join in next week as we share Rev. Fuzz’s biography.

We look forward to sharing his weekly journey, ‘Cancer: My Journey in Time’ and encourage readers to share it also, because it benefits the connected journey of others as the spirit leads.
