See Amazing Visual Art and Artists in September

This month offers several amazing visual art events, and here are previews of just a few.

Meet the Periscope Class of 2022, learn about their creative businesses, and watch 8 finalists pitch their businesses live on stage. The Periscope Pitch + Artist Entrepreneur Showcase is the culmination of the Arts & Business Council’s annual Periscope: Artist Entrepreneur Training Program. It highlights the business acumen, innovative spirit, and artistic prowess of local artists, makers, and entrepreneurs across an array of artistic disciplines including music, dance, film/video, theater, painting, photography, and more.

The evening begins with the Artist Entrepreneur Showcase from 6–7 p.m. The Artist Entrepreneur Showcase is an opportunity to mix and mingle with the artists at their showcase booths and discuss the businesses they’ve developed this year. At 7 p.m., the Periscope Pitch begins. The Periscope Pitch follows with 8 finalists pitching their creative businesses live on stage and receiving live feedback from our panel of expert judges. Selected through two preliminary rounds over the summer, these artists have earned the opportunity to share their vision with the Nashville arts and business community and to win cash and prizes. The program concludes with a graduation and award presentation ceremony announcing the award winners.

Hosted by Marcia Masulla, ROAR Nashville/Nashville Fashion Week, on Wednesday, September 7, 6-9PM, at OZ Arts Nashville – 6172 Cockrill Bend Circle, Nashville, TN 37209.

Also by the Arts & Business Council is Nash Arts Bash and Creative Exchange.
