‘Christmas Celebration’

William T. Robinson, Jr.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Announcing the birthday of the Most Highest’s son, Jesus Christ
Let us unite in praise and jubilation, for no greater gift can come close or suffice
Celebration, love, and goodwill should rain abundantly, among the people of God
No gift can come close to bringing as much joy and happiness, to the human heart

Our Almighty God has graced the world with his son, an event that rivals few
This monumental day has come about, because of God’s unconditional love for me and you
All hands should come together and knees bow down in humble submission, for this divine gift
We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the son of God, and to Christians it’s no myth

This day we celebrate the coming of the Light of the World, that surpasses any other light
The message of love, of joy, and hope should resonate within us, and we should not lose sight
So, we don our homes with festive decorations and enjoy family, presents, food, and love
But our greatest recognition should be given to God, for his gift of Jesus Christ, from up high above
