Expressions of faith

God’s wisdom surpasses human understanding. His infinite knowledge reveals purpose, spiritual growth, and righteousness, transforming lives through faith, prayer, and an intimate relationship with Him.

Bishop-Elect Dr. Monterey D. Lee, Sr.

“As it is written in the scriptures: ‘No one has even seen this, and no one has ever heard about it. No one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him,’” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NCV).

“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him,” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV).

What things will He reveal? God will establish His wisdom in us. The sacrifice of His own Son is to pay for human sin, and to make it possible for those who believe and walk by faith to share in His glory forever. This is the revealing of God for your life. You will never know this with human wisdom, because human wisdom is based on what can be observed by the human senses and is only worked out from human logic and reasoning. This is why your focus must be on God. When we focus on God and give Him our undivided attention, this leads to strengthening our ability to commune with Him in prayer, spiritual growth, increased happiness and a clearer sense of purpose and direction in life. We are now asking God what is your ways, your thoughts, your desires for my life? What He has prepared for you is greater then what your eyes see and what your ears hear or heard.

You need the greatness of God’s wisdom, Infinite knowledge, and power. This is putting God’s word to work for you so you will know. God indicated that His word is knowledge. It is infinite, and it is perfect. The mysteries of God are His knowledge, wisdom, and His understanding—not a new house, car, or job. They are the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of God. We are the ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. We are found faithful to God, because this is required of us. We are the chosen of God. He gives you His spirit and His word so you will know Him. This is the time to know Him, people of God. Get you a word of knowledge; get you a word of wisdom; and get you some understanding.

“As for myself, I do not care if I am judged by you or by any human court. I do not even judge myself.

I know of no wrong I have done, buy this it done not to make me right before the Lord. The Lord is the One who judges me,” 1 Corinthians 4:3-5.

So do not judge before the right time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light things that are now hidden in darkness and will make known [manifest] the secret purposes of people’s hearts. Then God will praise each one of them.

Paul instructs the Christians in Corinth to stop judging each other. ‘I’m the apostle and I cannot judge you. I cannot call you wrong or become an agent to you. My prayer is that you are justified [made by the righteousness of God] in the act by which God places His will within you and removes injustice and sin, which is then a changed state of life. You must become a changed person to the righteousness of God. This is a state of being that is just, right, and good—your new life in Christ.
