Shades of Black Theatre Festival in final weekend

The Shades of Black Theatre Festival wraps up a month of African American produced, written and acted plays this weekend at the Darkhorse Theatre, 4610 Charlotte Ave. The final production is The Black Knight Society, written and directed by Michael L. Walker and presented by Dream 7 Theatre Productions.

Do you believe in urban legends? Should people sometimes take the law into their own hands? The Black Knight Society focuses on just such a situation.

In one city, the citizens of one neighborhood know that sometimes bad people disappear off the block for one reason or another. Join the staff of Reign’s Bail Bonds as they deal with the myths and truths in their neighborhood.

Black Knight Society plays Friday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday afternoon.
