Who am I in Christ? (part 2)

The following confessions are reminders of who God says that we are. Repeat theses often over to yourself.

You are who God says you are. You can do what God says you can do. “You are the redeemed of the Lord,” 1 Peter 2:24. You are free from sickness because Jesus bore your sickness in His body so that you don’t have to bear sickness in your body. Jesus exchanged our sickness and gave us health and healing. You can do all things through Christ Jesus, which strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). You must believe that you are victorious because Jesus has already won the victory for you when He went to the cross. Receive what Jesus died to obtain for you.

Say:

I am created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-28).

I am the Redeemed of the Lord (Galatians 3:13).

I am a child of God (Romans 8:16).

I am heir of God and joint heir with Christ Jesus (Romans 8:17).

I am the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21).

I am in Christ and Christ is in me (John 14:20).

I am a receptor of the gift of health and healing that Jesus died to give me (Hebrews 3:14).

I am redeemed from the hand of the enemy (Psalm 107:2).

I am forgiven (Colossians 1:13).

I am a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I am healed by the stripes that Jesus took on His back (1 Peter 2:24).

I am casting all of my cares and diseases on Jesus (1 Peter 5:17).

I am more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).

I am trusting in God’s word at all times.

I am not moved by what I see or what I hear. I am moved by God’s word (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I am over come by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony (Revelation 12:11).

I am walking by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

I am the light of the world (Matthew 5:14).

I am blessing the Lord at all times, and I am continually praising Him with my mouth at all times (Psalm 34:1).

I am an imitator of Jesus (Ephesians 5:11).

I am being transformed by renewing my mind daily with the word of God (Romans 12: 1-2).

The above quotes are what God says that you are. You are created in God’s image and likeness. Look at some of Gods’ characteristics: loving, peacefulness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. Do you display any of these? We are to reflect His image so that others can see Him through us.

You must walk by faith. Learn to walk by The Word of God not by the word of the world. Those who hope and trust in the Lord will not be disappointed (Isaiah 49:23).
