Listening to and supporting the Devil

William T. Robinson, Jr.

Our nation is undergoing drastic changes that will affect the outcome of our lives for years and years to come. We all know change is a constant and is inevitable, but we must be mindful of what kind of change we want, because all changes are not good or productive. There are changes precipitated by nature such as floods, fires, tornados and hurricanes. But in many cases these are said to be influenced by the decisions of man to ignore his participation in contributing to climate change. But some changes are brought about by influences from unseen demonic forces.

When all is said and done, perhaps the most damaging harm we encounter is in choosing to listen and follow those we inherently know are sowing seeds of deceit, lies and disunity. Their motives result in greed and narcissism. We are blessed to have the freedom to make our own decisions/choices based on what we experience or are verbally fed. Unfortunately, you have unsavory and immoral culprits feeding on people’s ignorance, lack of spirituality or hate spreading seeds of discord and disunity. Unknown to some, this is how Satan (otherwise known as the devil) works. But he is powerless unless he has participants to carry out his plans.

What this country is experiencing is a movement of people gravitating away from Christianity and the spiritual teachings of love and humanity. Instead individuals are leaning toward self-indulgence, debauchery and lies—choosing to openly embrace apathy, disrespect and immorality. Some exhibit an affinity and fidelity to noted individuals who are as immoral and evil as the day is long. Unfortunately, this affinity is fed by those who identify subjectively with the vices spewed by the influence of Satan.

Common sense usually tells you that what the immoral person is selling is wrong and self serving, but many people can relate to that person because they feel they personally can benefit—often to the detriment of others. Such individuals put others down or deprive them of basic human rights. Ironically, this makes the perpetrator feel privileged and entitled. Literally, these people support the evil views of the devil, catering to their selfish immoral views.

The devil’s influence and effectiveness is only as strong as those who willingly choose to be his instruments or mouthpieces—as demonstrated by their actions. Make no mistake, Satan is a master of deception, but we have been armed by the Most High (God) to combat his advances if we choose. Choosing to look the other way or openly follow Satan is a choice. The devil is omnipresent, with his voice coming from some of our most highly profiled politicians and social media venues. You find some people that seem to be obsessed with the devil to the point of making excuses to help spread his vices of evil, hate and divisiveness.

While the influences of Satan can be found almost anywhere, they are blatantly being manifested in some of our communities, educational institutions, corporations, entertainment and music venues—and definitely in our legislatures. We must remember the devil does not discriminate and is an equal opportunity advocate.

The most noticeable acknowledgement of Satan incarnate in human form is said by many to be Donald Trump. Those so adamantly supporting such a vile and despicable specimen of a human being showcase the power and the influence of Satan in our lives.

You’ve got to be blind not to see that Donald Trump stands against anything morally decent and spiritual. Those consistently supporting him are only confirming the evil influence the devil has on us. Many of Trump’s supporters say the Democrats are trying to discredit Republicans. But the truth is that regardless of his political affiliation, Trump is a sorry excuse for a human being and should be treated as a pariah [outcast] not to be emulated.

The devil is ‘twenty-four/seven’ and is literally laughing at his accomplishments and victories in getting so many people to adhere to his will. But call me a fool if you will, I am praying and hoping that there are enough good human beings out there to call Satan a liar and upset his plans to lead us all down the path to damnation.

Believe what you will, but Donald Trump is one of the devil’s biggest examples of how strong his influence is on man. Beware of those who argue that the devil is only a manufactured construct perpetuated by man to keep us obedient to avoid the wrath of God. Satan is real and wreaking havoc in this world. Be cautious of those beckoning you to the call of iniquities, hate and evil.
