Expressions of faith

Bishop-Elect Dr. Monterey D. Lee, Sr.

“The people will worship Me and become My people. They will write My name on the back of their hands,” Isaiah 44:5-8.

We belong to God and we are His people that will sing praise unto Him for all that He has done for us. One shall say that I am the Lord’s [JEHOVAH’s]. We all belong to Him. It will be written on his hand we belong to the Lord, and Israel’s name will be with honor. With it written on our hand signifies the covenant of a person and his Lord, that this is my character identity that I belong to God. This is for all to see. Whenever a person marks their body, it shows to whom that person belongs. What markings do you have on you that say ‘I belong to this person or Lord’? We have only one redeemer, the only God, He knows the beginning from the end and His people can depend on Him always. There is only one God.

“I am the Lord All-Powerful, the first and the last, the one and only God. Israel I have recused you. I am your King—Jehovah, the upright one. You will have My Spirit [the Gift of the Holy Spirit] for this is My blessing to you as My people. You will increase as a people. I will be your Rock, Protector, and your God. All will be set in order in My Divine Purpose, who can compare with the Israel’s Redeemer and King?”  Isaiah 44:6.

This is why we move away from religion to spirituality. Religion says that our faith is not in God, but in our denominational relationship—not in the Spirit of God.

“Can anyone compare with Me? If so let them speak up and tell Me now. Is there any other King?  Who or what can compare to Me as Lord and Redeemer?” Isaiah 44:7.

This is the mistake we make. We look to man and to a name of a church instead of looking to the Redeemer. Can man redeem you? Cam the name of a church redeem you? God said ‘…there is no one that can compare to Me as King. Can he then tell Me what has happened and what will happen since I made My nation long ago? Let them tell what is going to happen.’

“Don’t tremble with fear! Didn’t I tell you long ago? Didn’t you hear Me? I, alone, am God; no one else is a mighty rock. I am a rock, God who will establish My eternal kingdom over all things.  Don’t be afraid. You are My witnesses, and you have seen Me work for you again. So let Me refresh your memory once again: I am Jehovah, your strength. Remember Me and don’t forget,”  Isaiah 44:8.
