As the weather takes many twists and turns, the 5th annual Kids & Kites Day, ‘Let’s Move’ is scheduled to take place in the Bicentennial Mall, 600 James Robertson Parkway, on April 5 from 10 am-2 pm.

‘Let’s Move’ is a continued effort to join in the fight against childhood obesity. Men, women, boys and girls will experience fun for the entire family and fill the park with the excitement of constructing and the assembly of a wide variety of kites ranging from handmade to dragons and box kites that will line the sky above the Bicentennial Mall.

For those not flying a kite, there will be many other activities, such as dancing, face painting, old-time games, great music and free food giveaways.

Those attending will also enjoy vendors who will share information and wares.
