Attorney Robert Greene offers goodbye to his mother, Rose Greene Cawthon

The ‘home going celebration’ of Rose Greene Cawthon, 85, will be held Saturday, April 2, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Westwood 620 Parkrose in Memphis, Tennessee 38109. Visitation is from 10 am until service time at noon and Friday, April 1, from 3-6 pm at E. H. Ford Mortuary Services, 3390 Elvis Presley Blvd. Memphis, Tennessee 38116. Cawthon is the mother of Nashville’s local attorney, Robert Greene.

Mrs. Cawthon passed away on March 26, and arrangements were entrusted to E.H. Ford Mortuary Services, (call 901-345-9558). She will be laid to rest in New Park Cemetery.

She leaves a daughter, Catherine Doggett (Jose) Hernandez (Memphis, Tennessee); three sons, Dr. H. Anthony Greene (Hattie) Columbia South Carolina, Robert Greene, atty., (Anita) Antioch, Tennessee, and Marlon Cawthon; seven grandchildren, including Sheldon Rashard Greene (Jamila) Boston, Massachusetts; Kellye Danielle Greene, Brooklyn, New York and four great-grandchildren.
