Rev. David Royalty of First Baptist Church in Joelton, Tennessee says that God woke him up at 3 am with a vision to have churches from three Middle Tennessee counties have simultaneous prayer events on October 30.

Rev. Royalty insisted that this must include churches of all races and denominations to come together to pray for America.

Here in Nashville, the prayer rally will be held on the Public Square in front of the Metro Courthouse. Tennessee State University president, Dr. Glenda Glover, and TSU Ohio Valley Conference basketball Coach of the Year Dana Ford are the featured keynote speakers on the topic, ‘The Power of Prayer.’

Longtime North Nashville pastor, Rev. Enoch Fuzz, is helping to organize and promote the Nashville Rally, saying that the Christian church is a failure if it continues to ignore the violent despair faced by people everywhere.

The White church and Black church must be intentional about solving religious and racial division. Royalty says America must humble itself and repent from divisive separatism. It’s past the time for all Christians to hear the will of God for His people. Dr Glenda Glover is well known for her strong faith in God. When warned by government agents that she needed to “sit down” talking about God, Glover replied, “Give me a chair.”

The Nashville Rally on October 30 is expected to draw thousands and is a free event open to the public.
