Anime Blast Chattanooga will be held Friday, Nov. 11 through Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016 at the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo. Anime Blast Chattanooga is a three-day convention that aims to entertain, educate, and encourage a diverse group to band together and grow in their fandom. By hosting interesting guests and holding engaging panels and events, Anime Blast Chattanooga has left its mark in its first five outings, and continues to do so in this its sixth, on the anime community as well as geek fandom at large.

Anime Blast Chattanooga is pleased to welcome back special guests REIN cosplay, Greggo’s Game Shows, 50%Dangerous, and Blue Bunni Cosplay, Richie Roberts, DJ Synaptic Flow, and the Vamp Valley Vixens. They are also extremely excited to welcome these first time ABC guests: Veenacos, Haiden Hazard, Vaughn Photography, Rainbow Redwood, and our voice actor guests Micah Solusod, Christopher Bevins, Rachel Robinson, and Tony Oliver.

The convention kicks off Friday at 11:30 am with a full day and evening of activities including one panel I am especially looking forward to attending at 3:00 pm on Cosplaying While Black, a performance by Night Sabers at 7:00 pm after the Opening Ceremonies at 5:00 pm and the Closet Cosplay Contest at 6:00 pm, and the Evangelion Fan Panel at 9:30 pm. Adult attendees can enjoy the AkaiCon Risque Costume Contest (18+) at 10:30 pm presented by Nashville’s AkaiCon staff. Saturday’s programming runs from 9:30 am until 1:00 am Sunday morning, and Sunday’s runs from 10:00 am through Closing Ceremonies beginning at 4:30 pm.

Pre-registration for the weekend is available onliine for only $40 through Tuesday, Nov. 8th. After that date, you can purchase 1-day or 3-day passes at the door during the event. At-The-Door Prices are = 3-Day: $45, Friday: $25, Saturday: $30, and Sunday: $20; Kids ages 6-10 = 3-Day: $20, Any 1-Day: $15.
