Rep. Brenda Gilmore announces Citywide Townhall Tour Series

State Rep. Brenda Gilmore (D-District 54) announced her candidacy for State Senate in District 19 and a citywide tour series across Nashville just ahead of the State Legislative Tour scheduled to stop in Nashville on July 27.

“This is an opportunity for citizens to receive an update about legislative victories this year and to share their priorities for 2018,” said Gilmore. “I am concerned with creating good jobs, protecting our seniors, and providing our children with the best possible chance at a bright future. We must focus on expanding best practices across the country into Tennessee, and I am proud to join my colleagues in hearing directly from the people about their needs.”
