Hair Again Nashville is an educational seminar that is scheduled for October 7-9 at Precis Salon, 2009 W. Trinity Lane. On Saturday, October 7, from 3-6 pm stylists and those interested in learning more about hair and hair loss are invited to attend a free seminar with general information in the areas of hair loss.

Causes of hair loss, medications, and the different types of alopecia include some of the topics taught at the seminar.

Classes and Trichology certification will continue on Sunday and Monday, October 8-9 for stylists interested in becoming a certified Trichologist. This two-day session will run from 10 am-5 pm, preparing professionals to combat hair loss within their chair with natural therapies for those who desire to become a ‘holistic practitioner’ of Trichology.

“We are also looking for individuals who would like to have a free comprehensive consultation, and from there talk about the treatment plan they may need,” said Nadia Ramos Hughes, founder and owner of Hair Again franchises. Ramos will be the educator at the seminar. She has been a licensed cosmetologist for seven years and is a certified Trichologist.

“We are glad to have this kind of exposure as it is important for men and women to have a healthy scalp, no matter what type of hair styling someone chooses,” said owner of Precis Salon Karen Miller.

Hair Again franchises has a two-fold mission. The seminar will first educate and guide stylists who are proactively employing hair loss services to help their clientele.

The second mission is to bring awareness to the community about the epidemic of hair loss and the misconceptions surrounding causes and solutions.
