The Nashville Predators have been named the best franchise in professional sports by ESPN. On Monday, an article released by the company recognized the Predators organization for their success on and off the ice.
From ESPN: “Nashville made the Stanley Cup Final while charging middle-of-the-pack ticket prices. Beyond that bang for the buck, the Preds deliver eye-popping customer service.
In our most recent polls, Nashville topped all NHL clubs in engaging fans through social media, delivering information via mobile devices, making it easy to use the team website and providing avenues for feedback.”
“This doesn’t happen without the support of the best fans in sports,” Predators President/CEO Sean Henry said.
“We need to make more of them, we need to continue to grow that base, but our fans have taken it on in a very serious fashion that they own this organization, they’re part of the organization.”
The Predators have enjoyed growth in the rankings over the past four seasons, including a sixth-place ranking in 2016, as well as the No. 2 spot in the NHL. Within that ranking in 2016, the Predators finished first overall in the categories of fan relations, affordability and stadium experience.
The honor comes on the heels of Nashville’s home venue, Bridgestone Arena, being named Arena of the Year by the International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA) during their 2017 Industry Awards ceremony last week.
“We always say our fans propel our team to victories and that sort of thing, but at the same time with the franchise, they push each one of our employees forward,” Henry said.
“What we’re most proud of is the relationship with our fans, the environment in the building and affordability, because it’s a balancing act and it’s nice to be sitting here right now.”
