Psalms 100:4-5 says: “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.”

During this season of Thanksgiving, allow your hearts and minds to reflect on how good God has been to you.

Psalm 100 is a psalm of thanksgiving and praise. It positions the believer to make a joyful noise unto the lord and serve the lord with gladness. When you think of the blessings of God it should bring about gladness to your life.

Think of the time that you were so thankful that it made you glad. Thanksgiving is a time to spend with family, loved ones, friends, and offer up thanks through worship for what God has and is doing.

The closing part of psalm 100 says “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.” During this thanksgiving season offer up to God your highest praise of thanks and adoration, letting the world know that you are grateful for all the many blessings God has bestowed upon you.

Have you ever seen the cornucopia that is known as the horn of plenty? Many times the cornucopia was placed on dinner tables that represented an abundance of great harvest. This represented the true blessings of God. This season of thanksgiving is not only a time for you to give thanks but also a time to receive your great harvest.

As you show forth your appreciation and gratitude to God, there will be a bountiful blessing placed in your life that shows forth the favor of God. I speak blessings, favor, joy, peace, love, kindness, and the riches of God over your life this day. Psalm103 says: “Bless the Lord, O my Soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name.”

Enjoy your thanksgiving with family and loved ones. Continue to be thankful for God’s many blessings in Jesus name, Amen!
