On March 9, Meharry Medical College held its Oral Health Day. Hundreds of Nashville-area residents were able to receive cleanings, extractions, oral hygiene and nutritional counseling and fillings. The event is organized annually by the Meharry Chapter of the Association of Dental Students (ASDA) in partnership with Remote Area Medical (RAM), a nonprofit provider of mobile medical clinics that delivers free dental, vision and medical care to those in need.
