Healing for the whole body
Receive God’s word, believe God’s word and receive your healing

In today’s society, the spiritual healing of the physical body from sickness and disease is not well known, even throughout the body of believers (Christians). Many churches or religious institutions do not teach the healing of the physical body as it relates to the Bible. They teach about salvation but neglect healing.

Healing and salvation are both parts of the same package. According to the Greek translation, the word ‘Soso’ is used interchangeably for salvation, healing, and deliverance. Jesus Christ’s redemptive work on the cross enables those of us who are born again the access to the blessings of healing—the healing of the entire body (our mind and our soul). God made a package deal for us 2,000 years ago. The problem is that most of us accept only one part of the package, salvation.

I believe that when the Church begins to preach the full meaning of salvation, we are going to see people walk into services unsaved and sick. They are going to walk out saved, healed, delivered and baptized with the Holy Spirit. Jesus took it all in His body. He bore our sickness, pain, weaknesses, and also our sins (Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24 and Matthew 8:14-15).

See your illness or disease upon Jesus’ body. He bore it so that you don’t have to bear it in your body. He bore your sins in His body and you were healed by the stripes that He took upon His body (1 Peter 2:24).

The redemptive work of Jesus (His death, burial, and resurrection) enables us to live in righteous standing with God. As human beings, we cannot attain righteousness on our efforts. We receive righteousness through our faith in Jesus. The redemptive work of Jesus also enables us to enjoy an abundant life that God has freely given to us in Christ Jesus.

God had a plan. God’s original purpose for man was to live a happy life on earth and to take care of his beautiful home (Genesis 2:15). He blessed man and told him to be fruitful and multiply. He gave man dominion over every living thing (Genesis 1:28).

God provided everything that man would need to live on the earth. Man sinned and was driven out of his beautiful home. He had to go out and make provisions for himself. Man was driven from his perfect home because of sin. Eve disobeyed God’s instructions. Satan persuaded her to listen to his words and she obeyed him.

Despite the fall of Adam and Eve, God had a plan to redeem His people (Genesis 3): eternal redemption. He sent His Son, Jesus, who shed His blood on the cross. He rescued us from eternal damnation. He freed us from what we deserved. We were all born into sin because of the fall of man in the garden. No matter how good or bad we are, Jesus has redeemed and rescued us. He paid the price for our redemption with His blood (1 John 1:8, John 3:16).

Jesus freed us from the consequences of sin, sickness, and diseases. He alone did it (2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2:24). Jesus paid it all for everyone. He did it for the entire world.

John 3:16 says that God loved us so much, He sent His Son Jesus to redeem us and that whosoever believed in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Receive your eternal life today if you have not done so already. Make Jesus Lord of your life! Receive what Jesus died to obtain for you. God did not close the door to His blessings. He opened the door for His grace.

For by grace are you saved by faith. Grace is free. It is God offering us something that we did not deserve. God gave free grace to us by sending His Son Jesus to die on the cross, thus securing mans’ eternal salvation. Romans 10:19 states: “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Grace is a gift from God.

God created man in His image and likeness (Genesis 1). Like God, man is a tripod being. Man possesses a spiritual body (the part of us that’s like God). Man lives in a physical body, and man possesses a soul (will and emotions).

One of the greatest illnesses that exist in man today is spiritual sickness. Like any other sickness, it can get worse unless something is done to alleviate it. Salvation is a cure for spiritual sickness. Receive your salvation today. If you have already received salvation, maybe it’s time for a renewal of your relationship with God.
