Judge Bell, Rev. Thomas Hunter, Nehemia Missionary Baptist Church and volunteers help clear criminal records

Judge Rachel L. Bell (front r) teamed up with Rev. Thomas Hunter (c), Nehemiah Missionary Baptist Church and volunteers to once again hold her Music City Community Court at the Andrew Jackson Boys and Girls Club.  Founded by Judge Bell in 2012, attendees were able to file a motion on the spot to be heard by the court. If declared indigent (without sufficient income to afford a lawyer for defense in a criminal case), court costs and fines are waived providing the ability to proceed with filling out expungement applications to clear criminal records.
