Spirit, soul and body (man’s spirit)

Like Salvation, healing comes by believing what God says in the Bible. Healing will come when you speak and say what God says in His word. Healing will come when you exercise your faith in what God says in His word. Faith is action. Keep speaking and saying what God says about healing. “He sent his word and it healed them,” Psalm 107:20. When you receive the word into your spirit (by speaking it), healing will manifest. God communicates to us through our spirit.

Before anything is manifest (comes into existence), it must be conceived (planted in good soil) in your heart. Everything we receive from God enters first into our human spirit. Our human spirit is where conception takes root first.

Our human spirit is the receptive center of everything we receive from God. The human spirit is like soil. The word of God is like a seed, having the potential to germinate, take root, grow and bear fruit. In order for it to bear fruit, you must water it with the word of God. Then it will bear fruit in your life. Jesus said in John 6:63: “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.”

Our spirits produce life in us. The human spirit is the very breath of Almighty God and was breathed into man at the beginning of creation. When man’s spirit comes in contact with God’s spirit, there is perfect union and man is able to fulfill his purpose in life. When the human spirit is disconnected from God, it becomes spiritually dead. Our human spirit is the lamp of the Lord that sheds light on our innermost being (Proverbs 20:27).

The human spirit of man is his conscience. Our conscience is given by God in order to keep man from evil. Our conscience guides us in what’s wrong and what is right. The Holy Spirit connects our conscience to God, so that we can be aware and know what God wants from us.
