Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus Christ (Revelations 14:12).

In scripture the word ‘saints’ mean ‘holy ones.’ Included are the entire numbers of the redeemed, you and I as in Jude 14. Philippians 1:1 tells us that there were saints at Philippi. Ephesians 1:1 refers to the saints at Ephesus. We read of saints in other New Testament churches as well. If we are among the redeemed today, so we too are called saints. What a high and holy calling of God. We don’t need to wait until we die to be considered saints. We are saints because we have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. We serve him faithfully as the redeemed of Yahweh, the one who has delivered His people.

God wants to be glorified in his saints while they live on earth. After death our destiny will forever be sealed. A dead person cannot be placed in the canon of saints. We do the work of the kingdom of God as those who are alive in the earth. “For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s,” 1 Corinthians 6:20.

The name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and Lord Jesus Christ. The word of God tells us that He wants to be glorified in His people. You must ask yourself are you glorifying God with your body, with your life, with your words, deeds and spirit? As time goes on, let His glory shine ever more brightly through you. Our lives are to bring glory to His name and  promote the kingdom of God.
