Expressions of faith
Received word

Bishop-Elect Dr. Monterey D. Lee, Sr.

Today’s word is going to transcend your spirit, because God is bringing you out to a place of eminence.

“And Moses said unto the people, Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He [God] will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will see them no more forever,” Exodus 14:13.

How do you respond when God has released a word for your life? What are your reactions, thoughts, feelings, and speech? When God releases a word into your life it comes as a word of knowledge, wisdom, understanding, the counsel of God, and a word of fortitude (strength of mind, strength of character and the power of fearlessness).

The word of God that is given to you is a Rhema word for it is filled with the Spirit of God and the life of God.

“My word which goes out of My mouth; it will not return to Me void [useless, without results], but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the things for which I sent it,” Isaiah 55:11.

The Rhema word has within itself the spiritual seed that releases faith, life, and power. This is why it’s the knowledge of God, because there is only one Spirit, seed, faith, life, and power. That’s God and God only.

When God speaks a word, Rhema, it’s a word that was spoken before and is now being spoken again.

In other words, the Rhema is the word which the Lord speaks a second time. This is known as the word of elevation. It is the confirming, living, and fulfilled word. When God confirms the word on you, He establishes the truth (correctness). He approves it to make you stronger. When God releases the Rhema, you can believe that it’s on the way.

For this word, the Rhema, is accomplished through the operation of the Holy Spirit where the Logos (God’s word) become Rhema.

The word of God, or the principle of divine reason and creative order, is now in-motion for you! When God speaks His word (Logos) the second time it is going to become Rhema and come to pass.

For God does not speak aimlessly. When God speaks a second time, it’s because you need to hear the words that He spoke to get you through what lies ahead. Who has a word from God that has already been spoken to you? It doesn’t mean something bad, but reveals what lies ahead. When He speak to you a second time, it’s already done.

This keeps us grounded in God and His word, so we don’t lose our minds or go astray. When you get there we don’t forget who brought you.

When God releases His word, it is to transform us into His likeness as we walk in the all consuming power of the Lord. For His word is true and eternal.

His word never changes, His word will judge us righteously and cause us to be accountable to an everlasting God that never fails.
