The Origins Music Group will host their inaugural Origins Impact Awards, with the theme, “A Year of Impact: Elevating Country Music’s Legacy.” The program is a celebration dedicated to honoring the contributions of underrepresented artists in the country music industry. The event will occur at the prestigious National Museum of African American Music on November 21, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.

“At Origins Music Group, we believe in the power of music to transcend barriers and foster connection,” says Corey Jones, CEO of Origins Music Group.

This year, the Origins Impact Awards will recognize the outstanding achievements of artists who have made significant strides in elevating the voices of BIPOC in country music. Hosted by renowned media personality Radio Rodd honorees include talented artist Shy Carter, who has demonstrated exceptional artistry and commitment to the genre.

“The Origins Impact Awards is a celebration of a year of impactful work and an opportunity to shine a light on the incredible talent within the BIPOC community,” say Jones. “We are excited to honor these artists and continue our mission of elevating underrepresented voices in country music.”

The evening will be filled with captivating performances, including a special tribute from rising star Mike Parker, who is set to deliver a heartfelt homage to the honorees and the legacy of country music. The event will also include performance from Latina country star Leah Turner. Chapel Hart is also featured on the program.

As the night progresses, attendees will enjoy an exhilarating DJ set followed by a dynamic performance from Brei Carter and Elektrohorse, ensuring a celebration embodying innovation and inclusivity in country music.
