FiftyForward, a leading resource for adults 50 and older in Middle Tennessee, has hired veteran HR professional Malcolm Richards to lead the organization’s human resources division. In his new role as human resources director, Richards will work to set the HR direction for the agency and manage the day-to-day activities associated with its execution.

Prior to joining FiftyForward, Richards most recently served as HR Generalist at CapStar Bank. He also had an 18-year career as a senior HR professional with the state, where he worked as a senior HR analyst and generalist.

“Malcolm has exceptional HR expertise,” said Sallie Hussey, FiftyForward CEO. “We are fortunate to have him join our team and bring his HR leadership skills that will benefit our staff and ultimately all the older adults and families we serve.”

Richards holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Tennessee State University and an associate degree in business and information systems from Nashville State Community College.

He is currently a member of the Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resource Management, and he has also been a volunteer with local nonprofits including Habitat for Humanity, Nashville Rescue Mission and Second Harvest Food Bank.
