Thursday, August 28, Nashville Jazz Workshop invites you to bring a friend and your favorite beverage, and enjoy a free concert by Hammond Organ Artist Johnathan Smith and his all – star band as part of their Jazz on Buchanan summer series. Jazz on Buchanan: Johnathan Smith runs from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at 1012 Buchanan Street, Nashville, TN, 37208. Johnathan will be joined by Adam McPhail on guitar, Jaraven Moe Hill on bass, Tyrus Sass on keys/organ, and Tajae Mosley on drums.

Johnathan Smith, currently the keyboardist for Brothers Osborne, says his ultimate goal as a musician is “to make people happy!” Smith certainly achieves this goal and so much more every time he graces a stage or studio with his consistently energetic, emotionally charged style of finessing his instrument. He has played in many bands and for many artists, and when he isn’t on the road as a band member for artist Hunter Hayes, playing keyboards and singing background vocals, he is a studio session musician and plays with local Nashville bands including his own local band J. Smith and Great Vibes. He is also the organ / keyboard player and one of the musical directors of Judah Temple of Praise Ministries of Nashville.
