“Behold, I stand at the door and knock,” Revelation 3:20, KJV.

This is the call for a relationship between God and mankind. The call is for all who will believe the word of God and respond to His voice. If you hear God’s voice and open the door, letting Him come in, He will dine with you. You are not in this by yourself. This is an open invitation—an intimate personal communion with God. This is a deep connection in the spiritual, emotional, and physical realm. See your true self in this new life in Christ. This is a move going out of religion and into spirituality—out of simply going to church, to becoming the church.

Spirituality, is a divine reality where you can feel God, are united with God, see God, know God, and have a Koinonia with God. It is an emotional and physical closeness in the spiritual. This is getting close to God, so as not to miss the movement and will of God.

Koinonia [koy-noh-nee-uh] is a fellowship, communion, joint participation, or sharing in oneness with God. It is a deep spiritual bond that will move you into purpose and God’s glory. You now have a connection with the Holy Spirit. This is a loving partnership with God—a Holy Communion, the Eucharist.

Eucharist: Holy Communion, thanksgiving. It’s the supper of Christ. You are living this life in Christ. That is why we take the Eucharist “in remembrance of Me.” You need this spiritual wealth and fellowship. It is a promise of ultimate victory.

The acronym of victory:

V-Victory

I-Integrity

C-Courage

T-Tenacity

O-Optimism

R-Resilience

Y-Yearning

This is winning in the now. God is saying, ‘Let me build you in the now.’

The pleasures of this physical world include:  money, security, material possessions. They are dangerous and only give you temporary satisfaction.

Before you were indifferent and unconcerned as to what God offered. God offers everlasting satisfaction. But we think we have our own satisfaction, and we don’t need God.  The church  can then be not only indifferent to God but also indifferent to itself—existing offhand, unconcerned, uncaring, and uninvolved. The church at Laodicea was living a dangerous life because of their rebellion against God and the Bible. They took God out of there lives and did not fill obligated to do the work of the Kingdom of God. What is your choice, your preference, your personal will? Give me a relationship with the will of God any day.
