Nashville Opera presents Fortuna the Time Bender vs. The Schoolgirls of Doom Nov 13 – 15, 2026 at the Noah Liff Opera Center, 3622 Redmon Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37209. Get ready for something completely different in an intimate studio space. Fortuna the Time Bender vs. The Schoolgirls of Doom is a vibrant, campy explosion of 1980s soft rock, comic book aesthetics, and Gilbert & Sullivan – style wit. When the villainous “Headmaster” threatens the city with his trio of musical minions, it’s up to the time – bending Fortuna and her nerdy sidekick to save the day. With a live 80s – inspired band and a “Scott Pilgrim” visual energy, this production is a high-octane comedy that proves opera can be as fun as your favorite graphic novel. Performances are Friday, Nov 13, 7:30 PM; Saturday, Nov 14, 7:30 PM; and Sunday, Nov 15, 3:00 PM.
And coming in November, Nashville Ballet presents Nashville’s Nutcracker, November 27 through December 27, at TPAC in Jackson Hall. And December 4 – 20, Nashville Repertory Theatre presents Frozen for seven performances in the Polk Theater of TPAC.
