It’s time once again for the school year to end and parents are seeking options to keep their children occupied. Those children and youth aged five to 18 will have an opportunity to attend camp at Tennessee State University in the music department. Community Academy of Music and Arts (CAMA) are registering for the summer youth camps beginning in June.

There are nine different camps scheduled this summer at CAMA’s 2016 summer camps for children and youth. Under the direction of Rod Bronaugh, CAMA director, the students are currently being registered.

“I look forward to the performance at the end of the summer as the students display what they learned during their camp experience,” said Bronaugh. “It is a great experience for the students who sometimes have not had an opportunity to study ‘the arts.’

The following camps will be offered:
Experience Africa Camp for ages 5-18. The camp will run from June 6-17, 7:30 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday.
