St. Andrew’s holds Women’s Day celebration April 21st

The members and friends of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church will celebrate their Annual Women’s Day on April 2st. The celebration will be held at the 11:00 a.m. worship service. The guest speaker for this special occasion will be Minister Roslyn A. Mitchell as the theme is “I Am My Sister’s Keeper.”

“Rev. Mitchell is a gifted woman of God who will bring an uplifting and inspired word from the Lord,” said program coordinators. God spoke prophetic words to her in February 2003 that said, “Now is the time to increase and intensify. Waterview and everything you are doing for the kingdom, increase that, and in increasing, intensify your submission to God.”

Mitchell is a 2004 Bible School graduate following her official call to the ministry in August 2011. During this year she led a conference, “Woman and the Holy Ghost”. This conference allowed her to share her spiritual assignment with others. Minister Mitchell expresses that “she is excited about the calling that God has placed on my life.”

In 2012 she was ordained as a minister of the gospel by pastor Charles Cowan. St. Andrew’s Presbyterian church is located at 949 T.S. Jackson Blvd. (in front of McKissack Professional Development Center behind TSU).
