NFL star, ESPNU analyst Carter featured at Go Red For Women Men’s Event

Former NFL star and current ESPNU college football analyst Kevin Carter will be the featured speaker at the Go Red For Women Men’s Event on February 11.

Carter is a 14-year NFL veteran and a Super Bowl champion (with the St. Louis Rams). He was selected for the Pro Bowl several times, and helped lead the Tennessee Titans to the AFC Championship game in 2002. During his career, he played for the Rams, Titans, Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and launched his broadcast career upon retiring in 2009. The Kevin Carter Foundation he founded has raised millions of dollars for various causes.

The Men’s Event features a private gentleman’s wine tasting, silent auction and a pledge to help protect the heart health of the women in their lives. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement, dedicated to fighting women’s No. 1 killer, heart disease. The Nashville-area Red Tie Society, comprised of men supporting Go Red and the cause of women’s heart health, is the American Heart Association’s largest such society in the nation.
