He grew up in one of the city’s roughest ghettos ‘the Bluff.’ He hosted BET’s ComicView for two seasons and has appeared in various stand-up comedy specials and television series. He’s also been a spokesman for Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits. In addition to stand-up comedy, film and TV, Bruce Bruce can also add author to his list of credits. In 2005, Bruce released his first book Baby James Brown from Penguin Publishing.
