Get ready, get ready Music City USA. The one and only Kirk Franklin is headed to Nashville, Tuesday March 29. Known to many as one of Gospel music’s most talented and versatile Gospel artists, Kirk is a nine-time Grammy Award winner, minister, husband, father and much more.

Announced last year, the ‘20 Years in One Night Tour’ 24-city concert tour (in conjunction with Live Nation) officially kicked off on March 15 in Miami, Florida. It’s only fitting to include Nashville, aka Music City USA, on the roster.

This announcement came on the heels of the release of Franklin’s 11th studio album, Losing My Religion (Fo Yo Soul Recordings/ RCA Records), on November 13, 2015. The album, which marked his 11th consecutive #1 debut, premiered at #1 on Billboard’s Current Gospel, Top Christian/Gospel and R&B albums charts and #10 on Billboard’s Top 200. In addition, Franklin just received a Grammy nomination for Best Gospel Song/Performance for Losing My Religion’s #1 single, ‘Wanna Be Happy?’.

The 20 Years in One Night Tour will be a retrospective of Kirk Franklin’s impressive, 20-plus year body of work, which has garnered him honors including 9 Grammy Awards, 40 Stellar Awards and 16 GMA Dove Awards.

Beloved for his distinct brand of inspirational music and lively stage performances, Franklin is extremely excited about the upcoming tour.

Matching one legend with another, the famed Ryman Auditorium will play host to a ‘no doubt’ packed house on the way downtown next week—known since the 19th century as being ‘The Mother Church of Country Music’ by hosting the best country music, amazing historical tours and more at the beautiful venue. Add the also noted Hatch Show Gallery. The Ryman Auditorium is located in the downtown area at 116 5th Avenue N., Nashville, Tenn. 37219.

Fo Yo Soul Recordings is a joint venture between gospel music icon Kirk Franklin and RCA Records. The Dallas-based inspirational music label, which was established in 2013, showcases some of the genre’s most talented emerging artists and established performers.
