Boogie Funk Revival indoor festival set for Fairgrounds

The month of October will come in with a bang with one of the hottest shows of the season. On Sunday, October 1, the Boogie Funk Revival will hold an indoor festival at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in the Sports Arena, 500 Wedgewood Avenue in Nashville.

SP8 Entertainment, Miller Light and Yummy Catering are bringing an exciting show to the Fairgrounds with entertainment from legendary R&B bands, including: Lakeside and the S.O.S. Band, featuring Bruno & Gino Speight; along with notable local bands and other entertainment.

Lakeside will bring the hype with some of their famous hits, including: ‘It’s All the Way Live,’ ‘Fantastic Voyage,’ ‘Raid,’ ‘Something About That Woman,’ and many more.

The S.O.S. Band, featuring Bruno & Gino Speight will perform some of their greatest hits. The S.O.S. Band takes you back to yesteryear with well-known favorites like: ‘Take Your Time,’ ‘High Hopes,’ ‘Weekend Girl’ and old school at its finest. This will surely be a night to remember.

It’s not your average concert. Ticket holders should come prepared not just to be entertained, but also to have a great party with comedian host Brian ‘BCov’ Covington.

Join the ‘Line Dance Explosion’ with the latest and greatest line dances, along with a party where you’re invited to meet and greet the band while 92Q DJ Magic Jackson continues spinning the old school hits immediately following the show.

Doors open at 4 pm to visit vendors of Caribbean food, Soul food, margaritas, beer, liquor, jewelry and wearing apparel. The show starts at 6 pm.
