This year’s Nashville Soul Music Festival promises to light up Nashville, Tenn. for residents and those in attendance from across the nation. The mid-state’s capitol city also known as ‘Music City USA’ will shine and landmark the last summer holiday of the season. It all goes down on Saturday, July 14 at Public Square Park. The event opens at 2 pm, CDT, with safe, fun entertainment and festival fanfare continuing throughout the day.
The annual ‘Nashville Soul Music Festival’ is an inviting and multi-faceted, exciting event which highlights great music while bringing families and friends together in an outdoor social setting—all for a pleasantly remembered day of reunion, information and live national award winning entertainment.
The entertainment lineup for this year includes: Cameo, Envouge, Ying Yang Twins, High Five, Rob Base And Miche’le.
The purpose of the festival is to create platforms from which the general public can come and retrieve life changing knowledge as it relates to health and wellness, technology, family intervention, financial literacy, professional career building and workforce development.
The annual festival provides complimentary vending space to those professionals who have an interest in providing complimentary service and or information in any of the aforementioned categories, which will further serve the community at large. This well planned festival committee will provide complimentary tickets to various community resource agencies with a particular focus on battered women and domestic violence.
The method of promoting the ‘Nashville Soul Music Festival’ is to present National Award Winning Entertainment at low-ticket prices in efforts to reach the capacity of the facility. A major event, which guarantees an audience that allows us to introduce valuable and empowering information.
With operating expenses in excess of $100,000 per event, the success of the ‘Nashville Soul Music Festival’ has always been contingent on sponsors, media partners, donations and the authorization to sell concessions.
Participation of this nature brings the festival closer to their goal of breaking even, while educating the community.
