Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District is a place of remarkable diversity. It includes Nashville neighborhoods, growing suburban communities, small towns and rural counties where family farms have been worked for generations. Every community is different, but the people share many of the same concerns: the rising cost of living, access to quality healthcare, good jobs, strong schools and the opportunity to build a secure future.

I am running for Congress because every person in this district deserves to be heard and represented—not only during an election, but every day.

My promise is simple: for all the people, all the time.

I served two terms on the Metropolitan Council and built my career as a higher-education executive and healthcare advocate. Those experiences taught me that effective leadership begins with listening. They also taught me how to bring people together, navigate complex institutions and turn community concerns into meaningful action.

In Congress, I will fight to lower everyday costs for working families and make quality healthcare more affordable and accessible. No family should have to choose between paying a medical bill, buying groceries or keeping the lights on. I will work to protect rural hospitals, strengthen neighborhood healthcare resources and reduce the cost of prescription drugs.

I will support good-paying jobs, small businesses and workforce-development programs that prepare people for real careers. Our young people deserve strong public schools, career and technical education, and affordable pathways to college without being buried in debt.

I will also stand with the seniors who worked their entire lives and earned the right to retire with dignity. Social Security is a promise, not a political bargaining chip, and I will fight to protect it.

Our district’s farmers, veterans and military families must also have a dependable voice in Washington. Family farms deserve a fair chance to succeed, and those who served our country deserve the healthcare, benefits and respect they earned.

I believe I am prepared to serve because my career has been rooted in service, education, healthcare and local government. I understand that the decisions made in Washington affect real families—from Nashville to Springfield, Dickson, Hartsville, Lafayette and every community in between.

This campaign is about building a future in which opportunity is not determined by a person’s ZIP code, income, age or background. It is about making government work for the people it was created to serve.

When I say “all the people, all the time,” I mean every neighborhood, every family and every generation. I am ready to carry their voices to Congress—and make sure Washington listens.
