Fisk University’s 90th annual Spring Arts Festival begins Monday, April 8, and runs through Sunday, April 14, 2019. Themed “Remembering Our Past, Celebrating Our Future, Living Our Present through Dance, Theatre, Visual Arts, Film, Music, and Literature” the 90th annual Fisk Spring Arts Festival will showcase the current artistic contributions of students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
“For nine decades, the Spring Arts Festival has provided an outlet for the many talented students and faculty members that make up our Arts community,” said Persephone Felder-Fentress, organizer of the 90th annual Spring Arts Festival. “Attendees will be treated to various vocal and instrumental performances, visual arts, an intriguing Stagecrafters theatrical performance, and our annual Fisk for Fisk concert. There will be no shortage of talent and it is our sincerest hope that our students, faculty, staff, and community members enjoy the many activities throughout the week.”
The Fisk Art Galleries invite you to join them for the 4th Annual Friends of the Gallery Reception and the opening of two exhibitions, Artists in Residence 1888-Present: Fisk Faculty and Alumni Show and 615 North: Artists Living and Working in North Nashville.
