Step inside Music City’s art world at galleries around Nashville that offer free admission to view their latest exhibits. More than 50 art venues participate, presenting local and world-renowned artists and artwork, offering the opportunity to meet and discuss art with like-minded individuals. Every genre of art can be seen bringing a truly amazing artistic experience. Wedgewood Houston Art Crawl is the First Saturday of the Month, the Second Saturday Art Crawl is downtown on Rep. John Lewis Way / Fifth Avenue of the Arts, and The 100 Taylor Arts Market is each third Saturday.
Each first Saturday of the month, immerse yourself in Nashville’s vibrant art scene alongside fellow art lovers in Wedgewood Houston, where roughly a dozen art spaces open their doors to the public. Since 2013, the Wedgewood Houston (WEHO) Art Crawl (formerly known as Arts + Music at Wedgewood Houston) remains an inclusive, free dynamic monthly arts event that transforms Nashville’s fastest-growing creative district into an immersive cultural experience, featuring galleries, artist studios, and creative spaces, showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists.
The galleries and art spaces partaking in this event include Zeitgeist, Unrequited Leisure, Grassroots Art Park by CONVERGE, Rockwall Gallery, Turnip Green Creative Reuse, David Lusk Gallery, Julia Martin Gallery; along with 185 Alley Gallery, Channel to Channel, Coop, Nashville Poetry Library, Open Gallery, and Watkins Art Gallery in The Packing Plant. This event is free and open to public throughout Wedgewood Houston from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Saturday, August 2, 2025
Save the date for the second Saturday of every month for an unforgettable evening of art. Downtown Nashville art galleries come alive with vibrant receptions and exciting new exhibitions, featuring both local talent and world-renowned artists. Explore diverse collections across all genres of art at the Second Saturday Art Crawl, Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Venues include Browsing Room Gallery (in The Downtown Presbyterian Church), Chauvet Arts, Tinney Contemporary, “Art Between the Avenues” at Arcade Arts in the historic Arcade, Bobby Hotel, The Bankers Alley Hotel (formerly 21C, at 221C 2 nd Avenue North), and Swipe Right Art (across the street at 208 2 nd Avenue North.
The 100 Taylor Arts Market, each third Saturday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, offers live music and local craft drinks with over 60+ local artists in person. Drink while you browse the over 65,000+ sq. ft. indoor art market in this converted mill in historic Germantown August 16, 2025.
My recommendations for this month’s the Second Saturday Art Crawl are the “Let’s Go Swimming” group exhibition and Martica Griffin’s solo exhibition “Serious Fun” at Tinney Contemporary. And especially the “Art Between the Avenues” at Arcade Arts featuring 11 participating galleries (listed by their Arcade Arts gallery space #): 53 Random Sample, 55 Galerie Tangerine, 56 Gallery 56, 57 Neue Welt, 58 COOP, 59 Cë Gallery, 60 TSU Hiram Van Gordon, 61 Tinney Contemporary, 62 ZieherSmith 63 Curated by Evan Roosevelt Brown, and 64 Daybreak Arts.

I highly recommend that you visit Zeitgeist Gallery on Hagan Street during the 1st Saturday Crawl on Saturday, August 2. It is the final day to view the exceptional exhibition “To Gather: Together,” curated by Alisa Jernigan and Evan Roosevelt Brown. The featured artists: Arielle Gray, Carlton Wilkinson, DaShawn Lewis, Justin Allman, LeXander Bryant, Shabazz Larkin, SkyQuajus Turner, and Tyquan Morton.
