The Hendersonville Performing Arts Company presents Driving Miss Daisy by Alfred Uhry. Driving Miss Daisy will be presented February 13 through March 1 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and on Sundays at 2 pm.

Set against a backdrop of changing world events in mid-century Atlanta, a feisty southern widow and her proud, but soft-spoken Black chauffeur journey from suspicion and mistrust to respect and deep-rooted affection. The play is a delicate depiction of racial tensions and of growing old.

The show is directed by Jill Dunlap who is assisted by Angie Walker and features Aaron Echols as ‘Boolie,’ Elliott Robinson as ‘Hoke’ and Kym Sims as ‘Miss Daisy.’
