In conjunction with DEX Imaging & Mailing, the Nashville Predators Foundation recently presented $14,500 to area charities as part of the DEX Score & Win program, an annual initiative of rewarding goals and wins by the Nashville Predators while lending financial support to area charitable and community service organizations.

For the eighth season, DEX Imaging & Mailing, official corporate partner of the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena, joined forces with the Predators Foundation to reward every goal scored and every win recorded by a Predators’ goaltender through the regular season with a donation to a designated Nashville-area charity.

Including  this season the program has now generated more than $220,000 to area charitable and community service organizations. Players were randomly paired with one of 10 Nashville area charitable or community service organizations; for every goal scored by a forward or win recorded by a goaltender, DEX contributed $100. The contribution was $150 for goals scored by a defenseman and a $200 bonus was awarded for hat tricks and shutouts.

Recipients for the 2012-13 season were: Boy Scouts of America, Md. TN Council, Christian Community Services, Education Equal Opportunity Group, Lifecare Family Services, Lighthouse Christian School, Nashville Children’s Theatre, Pearl Point Cancer Support, Rocketown, Special Kids, Inc., and Special Olympics.

Additionally, Head Coach Barry Trotz continued his commitment to My Friend’s House with a donation of $500 for every Predators’ regular season win. He began the program during the Predators’ inaugural season and has now donated nearly $260,000 to My Friend’s House. General Manager David Poile has donated $100 for every Predators’ regular season win over the past three seasons to each of three organizations: Operation Homefront, Peterson Foundation for Parkinson’s and USA Hockey.
